An invitation to Grace & Hospitality
Fellowship Matters ! It is part of all that we do. Whether it is a workday at the church, a mission project, a Sunday School class, sharing a meal together for a special occasion or no occasion at all, or a meeting to do the business of the church–there is nothing like coming together encouraging one another and sharing God’s love with each other!
We always enjoy our time together — over a cup of coffee and an occasional donut between Sunday School and Worship, or during a meal/potluck before a group gathering for games or video movie, we enjoy fellowship. We try to have a fellowship gathering at least once a month and some of the gatherings include:
February – either a ground hog day dinner or a Valentine/Chocolate Celebration;
March – Corned beef and cabbage anyone (there could be green mashed potatoes too!) or a good old fashion reuben sandwich;
April – An Easter Sunday Brunch after Sunrise Service; we celebrate Earth Day too!
May – a congregational event to honor any graduates and the Mothers with us and gone; and Memorial Day
June – School’s Out for Summer and watermelon bust is in the air; celebrate Fathers with us and gone;
July – Independence Day
August – Back to School supplies drive; and perhaps a “Movie Night”
October – Harvest Festival
November – Stewardship Luncheon; Veteran’s Appreciation
December – Christmas Luncheon
Our fellowship with one another doesn’t always revolve around food – okay, well maybe a lot of it does- but we also enjoy going to movies together or plays at the local civic theatre!
Our welcome mat is always out to any and everyone to join us.
